Matt Besler, Graham Zusi, and Roger Espinoza get most of the attention as the "core" of the 2010's success for Sporting Kansas City.
The forgotten man, Seth Sinovic, was also there putting in a shift every match day throughout it all.
The Kansas City native played in 210 league matches for SKC, battling off potential replacement after replacement for nine seasons in Peter Vermes' side. He scored just 1 goal in the regular season in that timeframe, but continually pushed his way into the lineup no matter the challenger.
While he was never dominant, Sinovic was a reliable face during the most successful era of Kansas City soccer.
Seth won three Lamar Hunt US Open Cups (2012, 2015, 2017) and the 2013 MLS Cup with the club. He was named SKC's Defensive Player of the Year in 2014.
One would assume he's a shoo-in to be enshrined as a future Sporting Legend.
Sinovic's shirt has light signs of use and features the Kick Childhood Cancer patch on the right breast. It is signed by Seth on the back. The shirt was acquired via Fanatics and comes with their LOA.
These kits are probably my second favorite home kit thus far in the Sporting Kansas City era.
They were simple and looked sharp, the collars really worked, and they were a huge sight better than the "tire tread" kits that followed.
