Kharlton Belmar spent two seasons with Sporting Kansas City in the late 2010’s.
He signed with the club in 2017 and was there through the 2018 season.
The forward made just 7 appearances in his time with SKC, with one of those being a start in the US Open Cup in 2018 where he scored his first and only goal with the club.
Belmar was a top scorer for Kansas City’s USL club Swope Park Rangers, however, scoring 26 goals in two seasons.
Kharlton made two appearances with Sporting Kansas City in 2017 and this shirt was likely either worn in his MLS debut against Houston Dynamo on October 11th, 2017, or prepared for a late season match he did not appear in.
Since this jersey does feature the NEAL patch honoring Neal Patterson’s passing during the 2017 season, we can assume it’s from that end of season timeframe.
