Jimmy Conrad is arguably the best defender in Kansas City history.
He was the 2005 MLS Defender of the Year. He earned four MLS Best XI nominations (2004-2006, 2008). He served as captain of the club and also earned 27 caps for the USMNT.
There’s no denying Conrad has quite the resume.
The defender is one of ten players to log 200 or more appearances for Sporting Kansas City, and ranks seventh all time in minutes played for the club. He also has the record for most goals scored by a defender (17).
While the Wizards didn’t quite achieve MLS Cup glory in 2004 or throughout the rest of his tenure. Jimmy did help lead the club to the 2004 US Open Cup title.
Jimmy's secondary match worn shirt doesn't show much sign of wear but does have two small stains at the top above the name on the back. It is signed by Conrad on both the front and back.
There is only one match I can find where he wore long-sleeves in 2008. It was a 3-1 win over the Revs on October 25th. It's unclear if this is from that match, but this one came with a Major League Soccer LOA and was acquired from the collection of MLS Archives.
