Dániel Sallói has been a huge part of the Sporting Kansas City attack for half a decade now.
The Hungarian winger has continued his climb up the the club’s all-time goalscoring leaderboard.
He edged his way into the top five last season ending the season at 48 goals and is within four goals of eclipsing Davy Arnaud for fourth all-time. Sallói is also just five goals behind third place goalscorer Johnny Russell who has 53 and is making his own assault on the record books.
"Showtime" Sallói signed a new four year contract with Sporting Kansas City in 2022 which will keep him in Sporting blue into his early thirties. Given that contract and his past performance, it seems possible that Sallói will make a run at approaching Preki's club goal-scoring record of 81.
Sallói scored 7 goals and added 5 assists en route to being named SKC’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2022.
