Tim Melia will go down in the Sporting Kansas City annals as one of the greatest players in club history.
He has a legitimate argument for being the best goalkeeper to wear the badge after backstopping the club to two trophies and breaking basically every relevant goalkeeping record. The fact that he etched his name into the record books with names like Tony Meola and Jimmy Nielsen coming before him is incredible.
Melia wore this gorgeous blue goalkeeper kit during his final season with SKC in 2024.
While the year was largely forgettable for Kansas City, one could argue that Tim Melia still had more to give before being let go prior to the 2025 season.
